Green Lane Playing Fields
Welcome to Green Lane Playing Fields
Green Lane Playing Fields is a facility operated by Wiltshire FA opened in 2020.
The £1.7 million project, in partnership with Devizes Town Council and the Football Foundation, aims to improve quality and access to football facilities in Wiltshire,help increase participation across the grassroots game and reach more people with the power of football. The facility will improve experiences for existing participants and also aims to inspire the whole community to get involved in the game.
Green Lane Playing Fields will be home grounds to two local teams, Bishops Cannings FC and Devizes Town Youth FC who will use it on a weekly basis. It will also be a training facility for Devizes Town FC.
Wiltshire FA will deliver coach and referee education and development courses and football intervention programmes on site for hundreds of participants across the County. It will also offer a venue for many events and competitions throughout the season.

Green Lane Playing Fields has a brand new, full size, state of the art 3G pitch. We have 3 grass pitches, a bright and modern function room and fully equipped meeting spaces. The site is surrounded by countryside with stunning views.

To keep football safe, we must have parent/guardian consent for U18 Pay & Play users at Green Lane Playing Fields.
When signing-in to use the facility we will check consent.

Only plastic studded boots are allowed on the 3G pitch, no metal studs. Blades, dimpled or flat soled shoes should not be used.

We operate a Boot Bank where we collect donations of unwanted boots. These boots are kept on site so they can be borrowed and no-one misses out. Download the information.
