Wiltshire FA, in partnership with England Football Learning, is offering free coaching CPD workshops for the 24/25 season – designed to help you develop your skills, grow in confidence and support your players more effectively.
This is your chance to gain valuable insights and connect with other coaches from around the county. Take a look below at what we have to offer:
Play Phase
Ideal for coaches working with players aged 4-6, this workshop focuses on helping young players enjoy their first experience of football while supporting their development in a fun and engaging way.
This Workshop will take place on Friday the 2nd of May at Moredon Sports Hub, Swindon. The workshop will run from 5pm to 7:30pm.
Coaching Disabled Footballers
This workshop is designed to build coaches’ confidence in working with players who may have disabilities, whether physical or non-visible. It will cover practical strategies to support your club create inclusive sessions, such as Comets a pan-disability FA programme or affiliated Ability Counts teams, as well as ways to ensure players within mainstream teams have the best possible experience.
This workshop will take place on Monday 19th May at Wiltshire FA's HQ, Green Lane, in Devizes. The workshop will run from 6:30pm to 9pm.Wiltshire FA Coaches Conference 2025
Our season-ending Coaches Conference offers two age-specific CPD opportunities: These workshops will provide tools to engage players in development-focused ways. You’re welcome to attend both sessions, or choose the one most relevant to your coaching
The Wiltshire FA Coaches Conference will take place at Wiltshire FA's HQ, Green Lane, in Devizes on Saturday 14th June. The first session will take place from 10am to 12pm. There will then be a short lunch break, with the second session commencing at 12.30pm and running until 3pm.
As stated above, during the Wiltshire FA Coaches Conference, there will be two different sessions. These sessions are listed below:
Morning session:
Focused on coaches who are coaching players aged 7-11
Afternoon session:
Tailored for coaches working with players aged 12-16.
