Following a hugely successful season at Lydiard Park Academy, we are delighted to confirm that the Referee Academy will also be heading to Melksham from the start of the 2017/18 season.

The Referee Academy programme allows us to work closely with referees as part of a select group in an attempt to further develop individual’s potential as a referee.

Whether you’re a promotion candidate, newly qualified referee or would just benefit from additional support and guidance, the Referee Academy can help you.

Being part of the academy will give members regular mentoring observations from tutors and senior referees who will be on aid to support you continuously at fixtures, and via 1 to 1/peers meeting and phone calls. Referees will receive appointments to Melksham Town Youth FC games and enjoy a safe, enjoyable and positively learning environment.

Members will have the opportunity to receive exclusive kit and equipment that is Wiltshire FA Academy branded and will be invited to attend a minimum of 2 training days which will be led by senior tutors, and senior Referee who are Premier League & Football League level.
