Covid-19 Guidance for Green Lane Playing Fields
As we prepare for the return of football, here is our Covid-19 guidance for using Green Lane Playing Fields:
- Everyone should self-assess for COVID-19 symptoms before every training session or match. If you are symptomatic or living in a household with possible or actual COVID-19 infection you must not participate or attend.
- Group Sessions of no more than 30 people (inclusive of players & Coaches) per ¼ pitch with the net across the halfway line and a 2m channel through the middle of the pitch.
- GLPF to stagger start times so that pitches A & B are used on the hour with pitches C & D having start times on the half hour to reduce congestion at the start and finish of sessions.
- Each Club to have a designated Covid 19 Officer.
- Sessions to run for 50 mins to allow for a minimum of 10 minutes between sessions.
- Casual Bookings required to complete a register of players prior to commencing play for Track & Trace.
- Internal & External Cleaning of high touch points.
- 2m Distancing signs for the 3G area (parents / carers).
- Wiltshire FA to have a copy of Club Risk Assessment.
- Safety Briefings Prior to Matches
- Everyone must adhere to the one-way system for entering and leaving the 3G area.
- Players, coaches & parents / guardians should sanitise hands before and after training / matches as well as scheduled breaks throughout a match or training session.
- Ball handling should be kept to a minimum with most contact via a boot and the ball disinfected in breaks of play. Groups to review the throw in procedure. Maybe use kick-ins? Otherwise the ball needs to be sanitised more often.
- Clubs should keep a record of attendees at a match or training session, including contact details, to support NHS Test and Trace
- Clubs should ensure they are affiliated with their County Football Association.
