County Cup finalists have their sights set on the trophies
Excitement is building as we reach the finals of the Wiltshire County FA Cups. The twelve cup competitions, run by Wiltshire FA, are coming to a close with final matches being held over March and April 2020.
Jack Sullivan, League and Competitions Officer at Wiltshire FA said, “We’ve had a fantastic tournament this season, the County Cups attract a good standard of football with some great competition. We are excited to find out who our winning teams will be over the next few weeks.”
There are twelve cup competitions with participants from the highest placed men’s and women’s teams in Wiltshire to youth, girls and minor teams who showcase the next generation of potential football stars.
Wiltshire based engravers and trophy suppliers, Avon Trophies, sponsors the Minors Cup Competitions and will be providing all the medals and trophies for the finals.
Jack continues, “It is great to have Avon Trophies on board as our partner. The medals and trophies are an important part of the competition, we want to make sure our participants are recognised and feel proud of their performance as a team.”
Phil Rossiter, Managing Director at Avon Trophies said, “I am delighted to be supporting Wiltshire FA with the County Cups this season. My business is built on acknowledging individuals, and teams, I hope our medals and trophies are reminders of achievement to all the finalists.
“As a football fan I have always enjoyed football so sponsoring the Minors Cups is a great way for me to support the grassroots game. The young players competing in the Minors Cups are at the beginning of their football journeys, being a finalist in these competitions is highly regarded and is a great accolade for them. I hope reaching the finals gives the players a sense of pride and confidence.”
The finals, due to start on 15th March, will crown the winners of the Wiltshire County FA Cups season 19/20.
