Danish Tech company, Veo Technologies has come on board as one of Wiltshire FA’s partners.

Offering a high-tech solution to filming matches, Veo have designed a revolutionary camera which is portable and affordable that makes recording football matches easy and effective.

Tim Hall, Football Development Officer said, “We are always looking for ways to innovate and develop the game. This product will be fantastic for educational purposes, but it will also support a variety of content for our channels.”

As part of the partnership, Wiltshire FA will receive two cameras, one for use at Green Lane Playing Fields and one which will be loaned out to clubs who want to try out the product, giving players a chance to watch themselves play and coaches the chance to analyse and improve the game.

Tim continues, “This will be a great addition at Green Lane, filming will provide a deep level of analysis for the Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre but also our cup finals, coaching sessions, grassroots events and affiliated clubs will all benefit from having access to the camera. Being able to have regular filming will mean we can capture memories, allowing us to compile round-up footage at the end of each season to showcase the fantastic football that takes place across the County.”

The pitch side camera has two dimensions and two lenses in a single camera which automatically follows the action on the pitch to get the best footage. Files are then uploaded to a bespoke analysis platform allowing the user to click through automatically generated goal highlights and player profiles with the option to tag custom highlights in the footage.
