iPRO continues to support grassroots football in Wiltshire
Wiltshire FA is delighted to announce the continued support of iPRO Hydrate for Season 22/23.
As well as being the preferred supplier of healthy hydration drinks at Wiltshire FA’s facility, Green Lane Playing Fields, iPRO Hydrate promote healthy and safe hydration to the Wiltshire football community via the iPRO Pledge and this season the organisation has extended its support to be the sponsor of Wiltshire FA Senior Cup.
Oliver Selfe, Wiltshire FA CEO said, “As we move into season 2022/23, I am thrilled that we will be continuing our partnership with iPRO Hydrate. Wiltshire FA remains committed to supporting member clubs, managers, players and parents to make healthy life choices and to look after the environment. This is why, last season we worked with iPRO to create the iPRO Pledge which provides our members with guidance on healthy, safe hydration and sustainability.”
The iPRO pledge gives information about how hydration can help players to reduce injury, illness and stress as well as providing healthy hydration strategies to avoid weakened performance. As an easy way to earn cash for your club, the pledge also promotes the benefits of stocking iPRO in facilities or at tournaments. Clubs can use matchdays and events to sell bottles of iPRO and promote healthy hydration while generating funds for their club.
Oliver continues, “Our work with iPRO also compliments our commitment to being environmentally friendly and our wider ambition to launch a campaign this season which seeks to use football as a platform to help protect the planet, encouraging grassroots football clubs to think about their own carbon footprint.”
With the aim to have no new plastic created and no used plastic wasted, iPRO is working to keep plastic bottles in a closed-loop recycling system so by stocking iPRO Hydrate at Green Lane Playing Fields, and at other football events across the County, Wiltshire FA hope to promote an environmentally conscious message.
Sophie Christy, Global Commercial Director at iPRO said, “We are looking forward to the new season with Wiltshire FA. This year, we were able to congratulate Clarendon Juniors F.C, who became the first winners of the new iPRO Healthy, Safe and Sustainable Club Award. This season we want to continue to praise clubs, leagues and individuals across Wiltshire for promoting physical health, mental health and the health of the environment.
“We are also very excited about sponsoring the Senior Cup, we are looking forward to supporting the teams through this prestigious tournament.”
Wiltshire FA have just launched 14 cup competitions that will run this Season. The Senior Cup will get underway in October as the teams start the journey to be crowned champions.Take the iPRO Pledge
