Equal Game Fund
Football clubs in Wiltshire who have attended Equal Game workshops are now eligible to apply for the Equal Game grant. This grant is designed to support the growth and development of female football at the club, with the aim of providing an 'Equal Game' for all.
The grant is open to England Football Accredited Clubs and offers funding of between £2,000 to £10,000. The aim of this grant is to encourage clubs who have attended the Equal Game Workshop promote the value and benefits of creating equal access for girls at their football club.
To be eligible, clubs must attend an Equal Game Workshop delivered by Wiltshire FA. The FAQs on eligibility criteria can be found here and the use of funds, and how to apply can be found on the Equal Game website. The deadline for applying for the grant is 31st May, and successful clubs will be notified by 30th June.
This grant offers an excellent opportunity for football clubs in Wiltshire to invest in female football at their club and help promote equal access for girls. By attending an Equal Game Workshop, clubs can learn about best practices for promoting and developing female football, and can apply this knowledge with the support of the Equal Game grant.
There is still time to register for the final Equal Game Workshop, which will take place in Salisbury on Thursday 8th June at Sarum Academy.
