We have launched the Wiltshire FA Cups for Season 24/25 which will see 15 cup competitions run from September 2024 – April 2025.

Shane Comb, Football Services Manager at Wiltshire FA said, “We are pleased to launch the new season of our cup competition. The prelim rounds are kicking off shortly and we expect to see some excellent football being played over the coming months as the teams make their way through the rounds.

“This year our finals will be hosted in various venues across the County, visiting Salisbury, Melksham, Swindon, Devizes and Royal Wootton Bassett, and we hope to see lots of our community joining us as we cheer on the teams.”

Wiltshire FA Cup Competition has been running since 1886 when the Senior Cup Competition was introduced. The competition has grown to now run 15 cups, that attracts over 270 affiliated clubs, 1500 teams, 300 referees and 1000s of supporters. It is a valued, competitive tournament which sees a high standard of football, with teams from across the County taking part to be crowned cup winners.

Shane continues, “Our cup competition is always exciting, we have a variety of teams from professional level to grassroots football at its finest. Over the past few seasons, we have seen more fixtures in the competition as a result of the significant growth we have seen in our Women’s, Girls’ and Veterans’ Cups, and this year we are delighted to add another competition with a new U13 Minor Cup.

“We want to wish all the team’s luck as the competition gets underway, we are looking forward to awarding the Cup Champions next year.”
