CLUB AFFILIATION FOR SEASON 24/25
Club Affiliation for Season 24/25 is now open!
Teams are required to affiliate each season. Affiliation is the process by which Clubs “register” with Wiltshire FA, allowing them to play affiliated football for the season. It involves telling us which teams you’ll be running, which County Cups and Leagues you will be entering, as well as key Club Officials and Team Officials involved in running your Club.
You can find out more about how to affiliate, download the guides and find out the costs here
Insurance
Marsh are The FA's appointed insurance broker to deliver the National Game Insurance Scheme (NGIS). You will need to purchase Public Liability Insurance (County Cover). Clubs must also evidence they have Personal Accident Insurance in place for the duration of the season for all of their teams.
Practice Plus
If you are injured in an accident whilst participating in club activity you are covered by the NGIS and could be entitled to a pay out.
Depending on the injury you could join the NHS pathway by going straight to hospital or to the GP. If you get a referral you can request Practice Plus as they are an NHS provider.
You could get an initial consultation at Practice Plus for £95, which will provide you with a diagnosis and a better understanding of the injury.

Safeguarding
We take safeguarding seriously. We have a clear safeguarding strategy to protect people involved in the game. Every club must adhere to the policies which apply to them.
Here are the safeguarding requirements this season...
DBS
For those in eligible roles within football to have a DBS, this is in line with legislation and government guidance and is standard practice, can you ensure your club are activating this and ready for affiliation.

Be a Champion!
Become a Good Game Champion and do your club the world of good.
You don't need to be an expert to show your commitment to the environment, simply be the person to ask questions, make suggestions, chat and debate about the small steps you could take to reduce your environmental impact.
We are launching a pilot scheme, seeking 10 champions from across our network. Each champion will be given a t-shirt, offered training to understand more about sustainability in football, invited to share stories and will be entered into Wiltshire FA Excellence Awards.
