Ground Improvement Works to be Unveiled
James Gray, MP for North Wiltshire will officially unveil Calne Town FC's ground improvements on Saturday 29th September at 2:15pm. This is thanks to a grant from the Premier League through the Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) - the largest funders of non-league football in the country.
The grant has enabled Calne Town FC, who play at Step 6 in the Western League Division One, to make a number of improvements to their ground, including: installing new cladding to the rear of the covered seating stand, replacing a section of damaged boundary fencing, refurbishing the roof to the changing rooms and replacing the flooring of the away changing room.
The upgrades made to Bremhill View Stadium will ensure the club is able to retain its Step 6 status and meet the requirements of Grade G of the FA National Ground Grading Criteria.
The project was made possible thanks to a £17,981 grant from the Premier League, through the Football Stadia Improvement Fund, the sister organisation of the Football Foundation.
