WILTSHIRE FA REVEALS A NEW LOGO
Wiltshire FA recently revealed a new logo design as part of their move to their new headquarters in Devizes. The updated look features a simplified, more modern version of the classic logo.
Wiltshire FA, Football Development Manager, Mark Young said, “The relocation of Wiltshire FA offices to Devizes represents a significant moment in the history of our organisation. We wanted to tie the move in with a refresh of our brand, it felt like the right time for a new look, to go with our new facilities.”
Wiltshire FA was formed in 1884 to govern the game and support all the professional and amateur football clubs in Wiltshire. For over 150 years the Association has been working in the Wiltshire community to educate, develop and support the game of football. The new facility, in Devizes, is in the centre of the County and will enable Wiltshire FA to increase participation across the grassroots game, improve experiences for existing participants and also aims to inspire the whole community to get involved in the game.
The new site will launch the new logo, which retains components of the original logo, with lifted colours, an updated shape and a more uniform typeface that will work better across digital platforms and signage.
Wiltshire FA has been working on its brand presence during the build up to the move to Devizes, aligning with FA branding but developing its own recognisable style, which is consistent and clear.
Mark continues, “During the relocation project we wanted to consider how we looked as a brand. We looked at the key elements we had in our identity to make sure we didn’t move too far away from our roots. The new logo maintains some of our history, while bringing our look up to date, it will make a smooth transition into our branding.”
Wiltshire FA recently relocated to Green Lane Playing Fields, leaving their offices in Dorcan Business Village after 10 years.
